Labor and Delivery Nurse-8

Labor and Delivery Nurse As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care and support to women during the childbirth process. You will work closely with the laboring mother, her family, and the healthcare team to ensure a safe and positive delivery experience. Responsibilities and Duties Monitor the progress of labor and assess maternal and fetal well-being Administer medications and pain management techniques as needed Provide emotional support and coaching to the laboring mother Assist with the delivery of the baby and provide immediate postpartum care Educate new mothers on newborn care and breastfeeding techniques Document all aspects of labor and delivery in the patient’s medical record Qualifications and Skills Current RN license with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing Certification in Obstetric Nursing (C-ONC) preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr ANCESTOR HEALTH
