The Department of Neurosurgery at our organization, in collaboration with the College of Medicine, is on the lookout for a proficient Spine Neurosurgeon who specializes in spinal oncology. This role is based at our primary facility, located in Hershey, PA. Candidates with fellowship training in spinal surgery, particularly focusing on oncological conditions, are highly preferred. This is a full-time academic role, and the academic title will be aligned with the candidate's experience. We seek an individual who is dedicated to patient care, eager to engage in innovative research, and passionate about teaching. Strong collaborative skills are essential for this position.

• Our Department of Neurosurgery features seven clinical divisions that encompass all major subspecialties within neurosurgery, making it the sole academic neurosurgical practice in South Central Pennsylvania.
• The Spinal Surgery Division at our flagship hospital is led by two fellowship-trained spine surgeons, specializing in techniques ranging from minimally invasive procedures to complex multilevel deformity corrections. This division also includes two advanced practice providers.
• The Neuro-Oncology and Skull Base Surgery Division comprises a fellowship-trained tumor neurosurgeon, a full-time medical neuro-oncologist, an advanced practice provider, and a nurse coordinator.
• There are ample opportunities to educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.

• Collaboration with medical oncology, radiation oncology, and the Cancer Institute is encouraged.

• MD, MD/PhD, DO, or an equivalent medical degree.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Fellowship-level training in spinal surgery with a focus on spinal oncology.
• Eligibility to obtain a medical license in Pennsylvania.
• Must secure valid federal and state opioid certifications.
• Proven track record of clinical excellence.
