Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, Nefab South Central The Supervisor of Services, Shipping, and Receiving provides leadership for warehouse operations while directing the site's daily logistics and operational activities. Main Responsibilities Manage the teams in Shipping, Services and Onsite. Maintain 5S and keep warehouse organized – Incoming / Inprocess and Outgoing. Coordinate Shipping and receiving activites for service related operations. Guarantees all out going shipments conforms to work orders and customer requirements – Pre Delivery Inspection, packing lists, shipping labels etc. as specified. Optimization of resource utilization. Reviews shipping schedule to determine shipping date, method, and any special shipping instructions. Receive all incoming product through warehouse. Guarantees all incoming goods as per receiving inspection procedure. Assign month-end inventory counting lists to warehouse team, help check inventory inconsistencies as required. Monitor inventory on a weekly basis, triggers re-order requests when stock are low. Adhere to ISO 9001 and 14001 Policies and Procedures in the respective áreas. Oversees regulatory actions for Trucks, Forklifts & pallet jacks and other material handling equipments. Other Duties as required. Minimum Experience And Education Requirements EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED Experience 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, delivery or customer service role Previous experience with shipping methods, customs guideline and required forms. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a definite plus LANGUAGES Fluent in English, both written and verbal PROFESSIONAL PRINCIPALS To act in a professional and ethical manner at all times To maintain a positive work environment and recognize that this is a shared responsibility and includes recognition, respect, co-operation and open communication Skills And Competences Demonstrated ability to organize and plan deliveries Demonstrated verbal and written communication skill Demonstrated ability to identify and solve scheduling and space issues within the warehouse Demonstrated ability to provide accurate accounting of good and keep detailed records Proven ability with MS Office Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the basic business and legal related documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack and other required machinery Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Work Environment Office working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require local and international travel, overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work. The Shipping & Receiving role has daily stress due to customer deadlines, employee management and responsibility in accuracy. The incumbent is faced with constant interruption and frequently meets with others Plant working conditions include noise in excess of 90 db, Temperature ranging from 30– 85 degrees F, and some dust.
