Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Attleboro, Massachusetts.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 6 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 28, 2026\n Length: 6 weeks\n Openings: 2\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of L&D experience and an active MA RN license.Details\n \n 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit with inpatient rooming, keeping infants with mothers\n Newborn nursery available for infants requiring specialized care\n Cares for neonates and adult patients\n Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00\n Every other weekend coverage required\n Uses Omnicell medication system\n Utilizes SBAR communication method\n No charge nurse responsibilities required\n Requirements\n \n Active MA RN license required, must be in hand prior to start\n Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required\n Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner\n Certifications preferred: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate\n Cerner charting experience preferred but not required\n Skilled in labor and delivery management including fetal monitoring, IV therapy, and postpartum care\n Experience with high-risk conditions such as postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy induced hypertension, and neonatal abstinence syndrome preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Provide comprehensive care across antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum stages\n Support newborn care including APGAR scoring, thermoregulation, and newborn assessments\n Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-section recovery, and pain management including epidural and general anesthesia support\n Perform fetal monitoring including external and internal methods and IUPC placement\n First-time travelers will be considered pending experience screening\n Previous employees must wait one year before returning as a traveler\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-751094.
