Location: Rochester, NY 

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Specialty: Adult Cardiac Operating Room

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac OR Registered Nurse (RN) to join a highly specialized surgical team at a leading medical center in Rochester, NY. The Adult Cardiac OR handles a wide range of complex procedures, including CABGs, TAVIs, and advanced heart failure treatments such as VADs, ECMO, artificial hearts, and heart transplants.

This role requires a skilled RN who is comfortable both scrubbing and circulating in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Requirements:

• Active New York RN License (required)

• Minimum of 2 years of experience

• Operating Room experience (Level 1 trauma experience preferred)

• Must be able to scrub and circulate

Certifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association required)

• ACLS (American Heart Association required)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in complex cardiac surgical procedures

• Scrub and circulate during operations

• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety

• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care
