Senior Project Manager

Legal Entity: AECOM Technical Services Inc Business Line: PPM Work Location Model: On-Site Primary Location: US - New York, NY - 605 Third Ave Compensation: USD 190,000 - USD 250,000 - yearly Senior Project Manager Responsible for overseeing and managing design-build projects in an Owner's Representative role on a highly complex mega project program. Key Responsibilities Manage overall project execution of design-build initiatives, ensuring adherence to specifications, budget constraints, and schedule requirements. Collaborate with the design-build team to develop and implement efficient project plans and strategies. Oversee administrative functions including design-builder’s adherence to agreements, contract performance monitoring, review of payment requisitions, and maintenance of project schedules and budget projections. Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records and documentation. Review design-builder change orders, maintain budget integrity, and produce accurate financial reports. Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships by offering consistent updates. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with quality standards. Promote and enforce a culture of safety across all project sites and operations. Provide on-site leadership and guidance to the project team in New York City, aligning with the task-oriented approach. Travel within the four boroughs of NYC (Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field plus 10 years of experience in construction projects of various complexity, including 2 years in a leadership role. Experience working as a Consultant (Owner’s Representative role) and/or Contractor (Project Manager or greater role). Preferred Qualifications 15 years of experience in construction projects, including 7 years in a leadership capacity. Experience interfacing with NYC agencies with jurisdiction. Track record of successfully leading large-scale high-rise construction projects using traditional and design-build delivery methods. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build relationships and foster a collaborative work environment. Proficiency in construction management software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
