As we continue to expand, we are investing in strong financial and operational processes to support sustainable growth.Position OverviewReporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will play a critical role in partnering with the Controller and CFO in strategic and technology projects to streamline processes and operations as Molded Dimensions continues to grow.Principle DutiesPrepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.Assist the Controller with cost accounting analysis and related projects.Support the accounting staff in streamlining AR and AP processes, which may include some clerical duties.Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements.Assist in the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors; assess any changes necessary.Assist in the annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the Controller and CFO.Assist in the management of cash flow forecasting.Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department's overall policy and procedure manual.Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the Controller and CFO.Other periodic ad-hoc requests.Education and/or ExperienceRequires an Associates' Degree in Accounting.At least 3-5 years of overall professional experience; ideally 4+ years of manufacturing experience with IQMS ERP.Ability to translate financial concepts to colleagues who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds.Commitment to training programs that maximize individual and organization goals across the organization including best practices.A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.A multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Personal qualities of intellectual curiosity, integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of Molded Dimensions.Why Join Us?At Molded Dimensions Group, you'll be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and growth.
