Hire Priority is hiring an EPA Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in South Austin.
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional with apartment maintenance experience who can respond to service requests, assist with unit turns, troubleshoot repairs, and help keep the community clean, functional, and resident-ready.
Job Details:- Pay: Starting at $25/hr.
- Position Type: Full-Time / Temp / Temp-to-Hire
- Location: South Austin
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general maintenance issues
- Support make-ready work and prepare vacant units for move-in
- Perform preventative maintenance and general repair tasks
- Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community
- Work with property management and maintenance staff to prioritize daily work orders
- Provide excellent customer service to residents
- Assist with additional property maintenance as needed
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- EPA certification required
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance repairs
- Make-ready experience is a plus
- Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must provide valid identification and authorization to work in the United States
- Must complete the application and interview process
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
