PRN Caregiver

Home Instead is seeking caring and compassionate CAREGivers to join our team and help fulfill our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. As a CAREGiver, you will provide non-medical services that help seniors remain safely and comfortably in their own homes while meeting the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Primary Responsibilities Companionship and conversation Light housekeeping and household tasks Meal planning and preparation Medication and appointment reminders Alzheimer's and dementia care Providing compassionate assistance with daily activities Treating clients and their property with dignity and respect Building positive relationships and communicating in a friendly, professional manner Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with seniors Dependable, trustworthy, and patient Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required if driving clients Previous caregiving experience required Flexibility and willingness to travel to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Norfolk Has to be ok with all animals including cats and dog Schedule Availability required: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday and/or Weekend availability Compensation $16.00 per hour Health Benefits available If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a senior, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
