Job title : Infection Prevention Liaison
Job location : New York, NY 10032
Shift : Part-time - Up to 21 hours per week. Scheduled is 8AM-5PM, Weekends included
length: 16 wk assignment, Possible extension
Pay : $20 - $26/hr without benefits

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED with matriculation in a two or four year college program
• Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, ability to work with diverse community groups
• Excellent communication skills to convey mission and purpose to internal and external stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct direct observations of hand hygiene and infection prevention practices to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Monitor adherence to isolation precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform quality assurance audits of shared mobile equipment and other infection prevention processes.
• Educate healthcare workers on missed hand hygiene and infection prevention opportunities through real-time feedback.
• Document observation findings and communicate results to leadership and clinical management.
• Support infection prevention initiatives by promoting best practices and regulatory compliance.
