Program Coordinator At Camp Alice PittengerAs the Program Coordinator at Camp Alice Pittenger, you will oversee all camp program areas, including managing program staff, developing program schedules, and organizing camp-wide events and traditions. Silver Sage Girl Scout Council is committed to providing a work environment of equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants and creating a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and professionalism.Responsibilities:Oversee program areas, including archery, STEM, arts & crafts, low ropes, and group gamesSupervise program staff in daily job duties, including program implementation, decision-making, behavior management, and troubleshootingDesign and deliver camp-wide programs, such as campfires, all-camp games, and themed mealsAssist in delivering staff trainingDevelop and coordinate programs, activities, and traditions for a safe, engaging, high-quality summer program, ensuring compliance with ACA standardsDesign and oversee integration of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and badges into camp programmingAssist the Camp Director/Assistant Camp Director with weekly program schedulingMaintain a positive team atmosphereProvide excellent customer service to families and visitorsManage mail and daily camper experienceComplete daily and weekly reports on inventory, staff well-being, and other camp operationsPerform other duties as assignedExperience Requirements:At least 21-years of age, preferredUnderstanding of camp hours and the responsibilities of camp administrative staffAt least two seasons of camp or outdoor education experience, background in outdoor skills or outdoor recreationMust feel comfortable living in a rustic camp environment with limited access to cell phone service and internetSupervisory/Leadership experienceIs a dynamic leaderExperience leading children of all agesDemonstrates strong independent judgment while proactively seeking guidance when appropriateExperience facilitating camp activities such as archery, low ropes, rock climbing, arts and craftsExperience working at a camp or facility with a large waterfront, preferred.Experience with the Girl Scout program, preferred.Certification Requirements:CPR/First Aid/AED certificationIdaho Food Handlers CardServSafe Manager, preferredWilderness First Aid, or higher, preferredMedication Administration/Management certification, preferredLifeguarding or Lifeguard Instructor certification, preferredUSA Archery Level 1, preferred
