Mortgage Loan Officer

Stockton Mortgage is looking for motivated, entrepreneurial people interested in building a career as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO), aka Mortgage Loan Officer. You don't need previous mortgage experience to get started. Stockton provides training and support to help you learn the mortgage business and become a successful MLO. This is a sales-driven career for people who enjoy meeting people, building relationships and creating their own opportunities. Successful MLOs develop relationships with homebuyers, real estate professionals and others in their communities to build a book of business. This isn't a traditional desk job where business simply comes to you. Your success will depend on your ability to develop relationships, generate new business and take ownership of your career. For the right person, that independence also creates significant earning potential and the ability to build a career with greater control over your time.
