What You'll Do:

• Provide routine and complex nursing care in the PACU, monitoring patient recovery post-surgery
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medication administration, and care provided
• Assess and respond to patient needs, including emotional, psychological, and social considerations
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Support education of patients and family members regarding postoperative recovery
• Adhere to safety standards and organizational policies

What You Need:

• Current Texas RN license or valid compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all AHA for each)
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in PACU or related perioperative setting; critical care or pre-op experience highly recommended
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
