Assistant Maintenance Director – Full-Time

Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehabilitation | Millersburg, PA

Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Assistant Maintenance Director to support the Maintenance Director in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.

• Monitor and follow up on the facility’s work order system .

• Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly testing and inspections .

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

• Assist with facility safety and regulatory compliance.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.

• Provide coverage in the absence of the Maintenance Director.

• Participate in the facility’s on-call rotation .

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience; healthcare or skilled nursing experience preferred.

• Knowledge of general building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies as needed.

• Dependable and willing to participate in the on-call rotation.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
