Job Overview
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team. This role is primarily field-based (60%+ travel) providing on-site customer support for high-speed automation machinery, including installation, troubleshooting, and system rebuilds. When not on the road, you will work from our Tampa hub.
On-Site Service: Lead the installation and lineup of custom automated machinery at customer facilities. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues on-site. Rebuilds: Perform precision rebuilds on custom components to extend machine life. Reporting: Document all site visits via service and expense reports. Customer Success: Help clients identify and order essential spare parts to minimize downtime. 4+ years of experience in automation machinery service or maintenance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading pneumatic and electrical schematics. Hands-on Ability: High competency with hand/power tools and basic math (fractions/decimals). Travel: Ability to travel extensively (60%+), including overnight and multi-day trips. Licensing: Valid Driver"s License and a clean driving record.
