We are looking for an experienced CFO - Chief Financial Officer to join the leadership team in Madison Heights, Michigan on a Contract basis. This role is designed for a commercially minded finance executive who can guide cash strategy, strengthen financial operations, and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across multiple entities and international locations. The successful candidate will combine hands-on financial oversight with strategic insight to improve performance, support decision-making, and bring greater discipline to core finance processes.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Lead weekly cash visibility and forward-looking liquidity planning across five business units operating in four countries.

• Partner closely with senior leadership and general managers to provide financial insight that supports operational and strategic decisions.

• Oversee site-level accounting activities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely financial execution.

• Manage the financial administration of business systems across entities, including master data integrity, costing configuration, period-end processes, reporting outputs, and resolution of site-specific issues.

• Direct financing activities and maintain productive relationships with lenders and other financial stakeholders.

• Strengthen the finance function by mentoring team members, clarifying priorities, and improving day-to-day execution.

• Identify inefficient workflows and implement practical process improvements that enhance control, reporting quality, and operating efficiency.

• Support month-end close and financial reporting activities to ensure reliable and timely delivery of key financial information.

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:

• 7+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior-level responsibility within accounting or corporate finance.

• Strong expertise in cash flow analysis, capital management, and short- and long-term forecasting.

• Proven experience leading month-end close and producing accurate financial reporting across multiple entities or business units.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business systems, including financial data structures, reporting tools, and issue resolution.

• Background in lender relations, financing coordination, and broader treasury-related activities.

• Comfortable operating as a business partner to executive leadership rather than in a purely transactional finance capacity.

• Ability to lead teams, support cross-functional stakeholders, and drive process improvements in a complex operating environment.
