Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple school sites in the Birmingham, AL area for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who hold or are eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), enjoy working with diverse student populations, and are looking to make a significant impact. Work onsite with a dedicated caseload of approximately 60 students, collaborating with educators and families to help each child reach their full communicative potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Alabama SLP license and SLP Educator certificate required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience in a school-based setting highly desired
• Fingerprinting and background clearance required via state certification portal
• Ability to work across multiple school sites as assigned
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students within your assigned caseload (approximately 60)
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
• Serve students at the following sites: Burkett Preschool, Hueytown Primary, Lipscomb Elementary, Hueytown Middle, Pinson Valley High School, UW/Bagley
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and assessments
• Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as appropriate
• Contribute to an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
