Director, HR Operational Excellence and Compliance

Role Lead North America HR compliance governance, operations, and modernization, focusing on compliance, immigration, onboarding, and Talent Acquisition processes to strengthen Bayer's operational license. Responsibilities oversee governance across U.S. and Canadian HR functions, manage risk, drive process improvements, implement AI-enabled automation, design future operating models blending internal teams, external vendors, and digital tools; lead cross-functional stakeholder collaborations and audit readiness efforts. Requirements extensive senior leadership experience in HR operations, compliance, or governance; proven success in enterprise transformation, resource model design, and vendor strategy; deep knowledge of U.S. HR compliance (ERISA, immigration, audit management); strong stakeholder management and systems-thinking skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred); experience with Workday or similar HR tech ecosystems; familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, automation, and AI applications; vendor governance experience.
