As a dietary aide, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. If you are passionate about food service and customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply for this part-time and full-time opportunity.Responsibilities:Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physicianEnsure proper serving temperature of food and beveragesDeliver meals on a timely basisMaintain visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishesAdhere to daily nourishment lists and stock nourishment stationsAssist the cook in monitoring meal serving timesAdhere to sanitation and storage policies and proceduresPerform other duties assigned by the dining directorSpecific requirements:Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageMust be able to follow oral and written communicationMust maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of dining service areasMust perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned dutiesMust have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasmMust be willing to handle residents based on their current maturity levelMust possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing dietary practicesMust possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general publicAbout us:AdviniaCare Newport is a leading provider of senior living and care services, dedicated to helping our residents live their best lives.
