Business Development Associate

To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will identify and engage prospective targets, manage outreach campaigns, and coordinate early deal conversations while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO. Key responsibilities Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market research for acquisition opportunities Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage founders and executives, managing and tracking responses in the CRM Coordinate introductory calls and prepare materials for meetings, maintaining accurate records of deal stages and pipeline management Required qualifications At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a formal degree Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, with HubSpot preferred Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage the outreach process with minimal oversight
