ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my State Farm agency in 2012 and am proud to serve the Baton Rouge community alongside an incredible team. As a third-generation insurance professional, I began my career working in an insurance agency before earning the opportunity to open my own. Outside of work, I'm the proud mom of two boys who keep me busy with sports, school, and family activities. I believe in balancing hard work with family, community involvement, and giving back.

Serving our community is one of my greatest passions. Our agency proudly supports JDRF, a cause that is especially meaningful to my family. Each Thanksgiving, we host a food drive benefiting the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, and when hurricanes or other natural disasters impact our area, we organize our Hurricane Heroes initiative to collect and deliver essential supplies to families in need.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Laurin Maier - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
