Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Puyallup, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 15 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Nurse in Puyallup, Washington. This position involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, including antepartum management and neonatal care. The role requires adherence to safety standards and collaboration within a Level III Trauma Center environment. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN or Relias module); at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred; Washington State licensure or eligibility required. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 0700-1900 or 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend rotation. Required Qualifications: Strong labor and delivery experience including cervical exams, antepartum and labor management, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin, and postpartum care. Additional Information: Role involves support within a busy Labor and Delivery Department, including postpartum and neonatal care to mothers and infants, with specific duties around fetal monitoring, medication administration, and couplet care once stability is achieved. Orientation includes annual core competencies and unit-specific exams.
