Vice President of Tax

The Vice President of Tax will lead all tax operations across a multi-entity organization. Oversee federal, state, local, and trust-related tax matters. Serve as a key advisor on acquisitions, divestitures, and asset transfers. Drive tax process improvements, reporting accuracy, and internal controls. Key Responsibilities for the Vice President of Tax Oversee federal and state income tax returns, sales tax filings, property tax filings, and escheat reporting. Manage tax audits, examinations, and regulatory inquiries. Review tax implications related to acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring activities. Lead tax planning, tax provisions, deferred taxes, and compliance initiatives. Maintain tax controls, exemption filings, reporting calendars, and department procedures. Qualifications For The Vice President Of Tax Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation required; Master's degree preferred. CPA certification required. 7-10+ years of progressive tax experience with leadership and supervisory responsibility. Experience with multi-entity organizations, trust taxation, tax-exempt organizations, and OneSource, BNA, or CCH preferred.
