Per Diem NNP - Level III and Newborn Nursery - 12-Hour Shifts

Responsibilities:\n

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) , Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) , or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dynamic team at Wellington Regional Medical Center . This is a unique opportunity to support both our Newborn Nursery and expanding Level III NICU , while enjoying the lifestyle and amenities of one of South Florida s most desirable communities.

Your Role at a Glance \n

• Schedule : 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
\n
• Staffing Model :\n

  • 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
  \n
  • 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
  \n
  • 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
  \n
\n
• Responsibilities :\n
  \n
  • Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
  \n
  • Attend high-risk deliveries
  \n
  • Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
  \n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
  \n
