Senior Accounting Consultant

As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will partner with our clients by supporting the month‑end close process, financial reporting, and audit compliance. In this role, you may have the opportunity to lead and/or support a team of individuals to implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy. Requires 4 days onsite in Midtown Manhattan, NY. Pay range: $55-70/hour What you will work on Very hands‑on accounting support. Assist with Payables, account reconciliations, record cash transactions, misc. account analysis, etc. Very manual, rather simple environment. Able to document basic desktop accounting procedures. Strong interpersonal skills able to work in a very mission based religious organization. Affiliation is NOT required. Identify and implement process improvements and enhancements. What you will bring Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required. CPA, CMA, CIA or CFE preferred. Non‑Profit Org, preferred. 3 – 7 years of related experience. Experience with MS Office technical skills, specifically with MS Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills, with a strong orientation to client service, time management, and project delivery.
