Strategic Sourcing Manager - Commercial Procurement | Pharma/BiotechGreater Boston Area, MA (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)Employment Type: ContractStatus: Accepting CandidatesLead strategic sourcing initiatives supporting a Commercial organization within a fast-paced pharmaceutical/biotech environment. This role will manage complex sourcing events, supplier relationships, and commercial contract negotiations from intake through execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives from intake through contract execution.Develop sourcing strategies, market assessments, and supplier evaluations.Manage competitive RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.Manage strategic supplier relationships, performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.Lead contract negotiations for SOWs, MSAs, amendments, and renewals.Partner with Commercial stakeholders, Legal, and Procurement throughout contract execution.Qualifications7-10 years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience.Pharma or Biotech industry experience required.Commercial procurement experience preferred.Proven experience leading complex sourcing events.Strong contract negotiation experience, including pricing, commercial terms, SLAs, rebates, and liability provisions.Bachelor's degree; familiarity with Coupa, iCertis, Ariba, or similar procurement systems.Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):Estimated hourly range: $70-$75/hr (W-2).Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
