Account Associate - Mortgage Document Custody

*Overview* A leading financial services organization is seeking an *Account Associate* to support mortgage document custody operations. This role acts as the primary point of contact for external mortgage clients and internal partners, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and management of loan documentation.
This is a great opportunity for someone with *strong Excel skills and customer service experience* who wants to grow within financial services.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Client Support:* Communicate with mortgage clients via phone and email to answer inquiries, explain reports, and resolve issues
* *Account Management:* Set up and maintain client accounts while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
* *Reporting & Analysis:* Generate and analyze Excel reports (using *VLOOKUPs and pivot tables*) to track loan document status
* *Document Review:* Verify mortgage and collateral files meet requirements before secure storage
* *Issue Resolution:* Investigate discrepancies and support the Relationship Manager in resolving client concerns
* *Documentation:* Prepare certifications, trust receipts, and other sensitive correspondence
* *Collaboration:* Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support client needs
* *Project Support:* Assist with departmental initiatives and process improvements
*Required Skills & Qualifications*
* 2+ years of *financial services or professional customer service experience *(Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience)
* *At least 6+ months of experience using Microsoft Excel*, including:
* VLOOKUPs
* Pivot tables

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
