Performs the duties of any branch team member when necessaryCommunicates with other departments of the Credit Union to enhance member serviceCreates a team environment that facilitates engagement and team member participationAssists manager with training, development and performance of branch team membersReviews, makes recommendations, and implements improvements in branch operations.Ensures proper cash handling, balancing procedures, daily reconciliation of branch totals, and daily opening/ closing of the branch officeAssists with responsibilities related to the daily operation, reconciliation and problem resolution of the branch ATMActs as Branch Manager for Saturday work schedule rotation at assigned branch locationsPrepares statistical and operational reports as neededAssists with conducting team meetings as neededMaintains knowledge of laws and regulations affecting financial institutions policies and proceduresReviews and modifies written procedures as neededManages credit union security proceduresAssists manager with facility responsibilitiesVolunteers in various activities sponsored by UMCU within the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor communitiesWhat you will need for this role?Associate's degree or equivalent; or 2 or more years of management experience, is preferred.Minimum of 2 years' experience in a financial institution is preferredProficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be a team player and possess a high energy "can do" attitude
