Assistant Quality ManagerLiberty, NC 27298Assistant Quality ManagerThis is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming quality professional who has a few years of manufacturing experience and is ready to take the next step in their career. The person selected will work closely with an experienced Quality Manager and gain broad exposure to quality systems, suppliers, customers, inspections, ISO requirements, PPAPs, auditing, and continuous improvement. The company is specifically looking for someone who is sharp, eager to learn, a strong communicator, and interested in growing into future quality leadership.Key Responsibilities:Support daily quality and inspection activitiesAssist with quality projects and follow-upWork with suppliers, customers, production, purchasing, and other internal teamsAssist with NCRs, SCARs, corrective actions, scorecards, and customer quality issuesCoordinate customer and supplier returns/RMAsPrepare and maintain Certificates of Compliance/Conformance and material certificationsSupport ISO 9001:2015 audits, documentation, and follow-upPrepare and coordinate PPAP documentation and submissionsReview drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and quality documentationHelp train and support quality inspection personnelAssist with continuous improvement and quality system developmentWhat We're Looking For:2–5 years of quality experience, preferably in manufacturingExperience or exposure to PPAP, ISO 9001, and auditingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working directly with suppliers and customersStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and quality documentsRubber or plastics manufacturing experience is a plusBachelor's degree is preferred but not requiredSomeone motivated to learn, take on more responsibility, and grow into leadershipWhy Consider This Opportunity?Quarterly bonus opportunity100% employer-paid health insurance for the employeeFour-day workweek Monday–Thursday, approximately 6:00 AM–4:30 PMClimate-controlled manufacturing facilityDirect mentorship from an experienced Quality ManagerClear opportunity for increased responsibility and future advancement into a Quality Manager role
