Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in PCU, IMC, or Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and manage patient assignments in accordance with unit policies.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to cardiac emergencies.
• Administer medications, including IV drips, and manage central lines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess and interpret patient data.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Document all aspects of patient care in the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system and cardiac telemetry.
• Strong ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage arrhythmia-related emergencies.
• Experience managing respiratory and cardiac patient diagnoses.
• Capability to float as needed and work collaboratively across care teams.
