This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of electrical components, machinery, and systems to support IT and production processes with premier customer service. To successfully perform this job, an individual will require a combination of technical experience and hands-on skills./ppstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong - include the following./polliElectrical Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and wiring, to ensure they are functioning correctly. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the risk of electrical failures and extend equipment lifespan./liliTroubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency./liliInstallation: Install new electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations./liliSafety Compliance: Adhere to all electrical safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees./liliDocumentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance in conformance with auditing standards./liliCollaboration: Work closely with other maintenance and production teams to identify and resolve electrical issues and improve overall efficiency./liliFlexibility: Work within a planned schedule up to and including 12-hour rotating schedule that includes weekends as scheduled, and/or needed for production./liliToyota Production System: Conduct all work in accordance to lean manufacturing principles and processes alone or in a group setting./liliOther duties as assigned./li/olpstrongQUALIFICATIONS/strong/ppTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Proven experience as an industrial electrical technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting./ppstrongTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE and/or SKILLS/strong/ppStrong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC motors, control systems, and Programable Logistic Controls (PLCs). Ability to read ladder logic. Knowledge of Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron or other controls equipment. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools. Knowledge of industrial safety practices and electrical codes. Ability to bend and run conduit. Knowledge of electrical theory up to 480V 3-Phase. Ability to read and troubleshoot PLC logic. Ability to install and troubleshoot Variable-Frequency Drives (VFDs). Knowledge of Arc Flash Standards. Knowledge of OSHA Standards. Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)./ppstrongLANGUAGE SKILLS/strong/ppAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Computer program skills, such as Microsoft Office Suite, are regularly used to communicate and gather information. Fluent in English.
