Project Scheduler

A leading construction contractor delivering complex, large-scale projects across multiple sectors is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the development, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.

This role will work closely with Preconstruction, Operations, and Project Management teams to ensure schedules are accurate, achievable, and aligned with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including activity sequencing, milestones, labour planning, equipment allocation, and forecasting.
• Create proposal and bid schedules to support new project pursuits.
• Establish schedule baselines and provide regular updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct schedule analysis, including critical path, variance, and delay analysis.
• Identify scheduling risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Produce regular reporting and project schedule updates for project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Operations, Estimating, and Project Management teams to monitor progress and improve schedule performance.
• Analyse workforce requirements and resource utilisation to support efficient project delivery.
• Support scheduling best practices and provide guidance to project teams on schedule maintenance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of project scheduling experience, preferably within construction, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, energy, or mission-critical projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of project controls, schedule management, and critical path methodology.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. xhyhwjd
