We are looking for a Senior Accountant. Position Summary The role of Senior Accountant requires solid communication, organizational, IT technology and analytical skills. The role is responsible for performing complex accounting tasks, including a leadership role in the month-end close and reporting processes. Responsibilities Complete the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries in a timely and accurate manner Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including investigating, documenting and rectifying any variances Review of weekly cash reports Assist with the review of monthly, quarterly, and/or annual lender reporting Assist with coordinating and gathering audit-related requests Recommend ways to improve processes and improve efficiency Perform additional duties as assigned by their supervisor Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting 3 to 5 years of accounting experience CPA or CPA Candidate Ability to take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive and professional attitude Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed tight deadlines and complete deliverables for the Inspire Accounting function Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel, as well as proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications, are also required, including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Proficient experience in Sage Intacct.
