Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide progressive care to patients in a 10-bed PCU/Stepdown unit with a patient ratio of 1:3.
• Administer bedside procedures including TEE/Cardioversion and moderate sedation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Radiology.
• Document patient care promptly and accurately using Epic charting system.
• Float to similar units as needed to meet facility requirements.
• Comply with all hospital policies including necessary certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing and eligible for state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience; first-time travelers welcome.
• Proficient with Epic electronic medical records system.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience managing patients with acute cardiac and neuro conditions.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and maintain flexible scheduling as per unit needs.
