PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for highly motivated individuals willing to provide a quality preschool educational experience that establishes a foundation for future educational success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field Successful experience working with preschool-age children. Ability to interact and communicate with children to promote positive self-esteem, problem solving skills, and critical thinking abilities. Ability to collaborate with a team of educators. Knowledge of/experience with Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Implement developmentally appropriate instruction using research-based curriculum, assessments, and developmental screeners Ensure the safety of all children through constant supervision Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of the children in the program, based on their individual development Provide weekly schedules of activities Communicate and engage with families daily and weekly through newsletters, conferences, and home visits Develop activities that introduce early math and literacy concepts Establish routines and provide positive guidance Discuss children's development with parents Implement a variety of curriculum tools during small and large group learning time Other duties as assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Wage Range : $26.93-$30.59 Work Schedule: 8 hours per day for all days that students are in session plus additional work days as determined by administration Single subscriber medical coverage
