UI/Front End Developer

Location: Westchester, IL Duration: 12 months Rate: DOE 100% REMOTE ROLE Start Date Immediately

Detailed Job Description Technical skills:

Ability to build responsive and accessible web pages – HTML and CSS
Ability to write modular, scalable and DRY HTML and CSS code.
Ability to work with front-end website frameworks – Bootstrap and similar
Ability to work with image authoring tools – Sketch & Photoshop
Ability to write client-side interactions – JQuery and Javascript

Preferred qualifications:

Formal design training. BA/BFA (or equivalent experience).
Ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines.
Familiarity with the opportunities and limitations of web typography.
Familiarity with vector graphics and iconography.
Familiarity with code versioning tool – Visual Studio
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks.
Knowledge around good UX practices

Bonus qualifications:

Experience with XCode / Android Studio
Experience with CSS Preprocessors – SASS or LESS
Experience with Javascript MVC Frameworks – Angular, React or Vue
