Accounting Specialist (Construction) Location: North Side of Indianapolis, IN Salary: $60,000–$70,000 depending on experience Job Description We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with a construction accounting background to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing construction company. This role focuses on AP/AR, job costing, and supporting month-end close in a project-based environment. Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Perform job cost accounting by project, phase, and cost code Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts Assist with month-end close and financial reporting Prepare lien waivers and manage subcontractor/vendor documentation Support payroll reviews and job allocations Work closely with project managers to resolve cost discrepancies Requirements 2+ years of accounting experience within the construction industry (required) Working knowledge of job costing and construction accounting practices Experience with accounting software (Sage, Viewpoint, QuickBooks, or similar) Proficient in Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
