In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans. Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to accurately identify client needs. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based practices. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during emergencies. Provide specialized counseling for diverse populations including children, adolescents, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, and those experiencing emotional and/or behavioral challenges. Document all patient interactions meticulously in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans to optimize patient care outcomes. Utilize telehealth platforms to extend mental health services remotely while maintaining high-quality patient engagement. Hold an active state license as a Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or equivalent credential with demonstrated experience in clinical counseling. Please NO Associates at this time. Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, social work practices, crisis management, and addiction counseling. Experience working with children, adults, families, couples, individuals with disabilities—including autism—in an outpatient setting. Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic classification and CPT coding for billing purposes. Knowledge of medical terminology, behavioral health concepts, and mental health assessment tools. Strong skills in patient care, behavior management, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), and other applicable therapy interventions. Experience with HIPAA compliance, medical records management, and electronic health record systems. Excellent communication skills for intake interviews, patient assessment, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
