Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/ Prep Cook and bring your passion for food to life! Busy kitchen looking for a line cook to join our team, we specialize in Puerto Rican, Mexican, Cuban, and Columbiana flavors. Previous Latin cuisine experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person, must be reliable, work clean, and able to handle a fast-paced environment. this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, and ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests. Whether you're experienced in food handling or eager to grow your kitchen expertise, this role perfect for motivated individuals ready to make an impact through their culinary talents. Cooking dishes within a small kitchen team. shift including daytime, evening, and weekends. This position demands efficiency, accuracy, and strong collaboration to ensure quality food presentation and kitchen sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and set up cooking stations promptly
- Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work areas
- Support menu planning efforts by assisting with ingredients sourcing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and timely meal delivery.
- Assist in catering events or special functions as needed, providing high-quality meal preparation and presentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in culinary or food preparation
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Excellent teamwork and attention to detail
- Proficient cooking techniques and inventory management
