Physical Therapist Assistant

Join Springs Village Care Center as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to our residents, helping them achieve their mobility and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and compassionate support. Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises. Monitor and document patient progress and report to supervising therapist. Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises. Follow all safety and infection control protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team. Prior experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred. CPR certification is a plus. Benefits
