CNA or Nurse Apprentice - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

The Pediatric ICU (PICU) has 13 beds and a pediatric trauma unit.

What you can expect from this role

• Full Time position available in the Boise PICU Department

• Full Time - 3, 12 hour shifts per week on Nights (1900-0730)

• Weekend and Holiday requirements

• Shift differential pay offered

• Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education

Qualifications: CNA

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice

• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification

Qualifications: Nurse Apprentice

Licenses/Certifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accreditations)

• Experience: 0 years experience

• Licenses/Certifications:

• Nurse Apprentice Letter OR Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing . The Nurse Apprentice is able to remain in the Nurse Apprentice position following graduation while awaiting RN or GN Licensure or 90 days, whichever comes first.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
