Opportunity Details

• Evaluate and diagnose neurological disorders in pediatric patients.
• Develop and manage treatment plans tailored to each patient, which may include medications, therapy, or surgical referrals.
• Provide ongoing management of chronic neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with other pediatric specialists, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers.
• Educate families on disease management, treatment options, and long‑term care.
• Contribute to teaching and training of residents and medical students.

Qualifications

• Active NY State medical license
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology

Wages and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $242,000* (Board Eligible); $252,000* (Board Certified) based on 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $361,720** (Board Eligible) and $372,720** (Board Certified).

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
