Patients are primarily admitted from Labor & Delivery and may have conditions including: Extreme prematurity Respiratory distress syndrome Sepsis Hypoglycemia Congenital anomalies Seizures Meconium aspiration syndrome CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Care for high-acuity premature and critically ill neonates Manage mechanical ventilation, high-frequency oscillation and CPAP Administer and monitor pressors and nitric oxide therapy Respond to neonatal emergencies Attend C-sections and high-risk deliveries Assist with intubations and bedside procedures Peripheral IV insertion and septic workups Percutaneous catheter insertions Parenteral therapy Blood and blood product administration Medication administration and vital-sign monitoring Bronchopulmonary hygiene Parent education and support Facility: Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center Address: 6500 Longley Lane, Reno, NV 89511 HonorVet Technologies Job ID 32855684.
