Overview Messner Reeves LLP, a national law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada . We are looking for a long-term addition to our team who has a great work ethic and positive attitude. Base pay $55,000.00/yr - $62,000.00/yr Responsibilities Coordinate heavy scheduling and calendaring for attorney meetings, court deadlines, and depositions. Provide support by drafting correspondence, memoranda and other legal documents. Prepare files and/or binders for hearings, depositions, meetings and trial. Assist with client engagement and retention, including preparation of engagement letter, conflict checks, conflict waivers, and submitting information to open matters. Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision. Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent verbal and communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Qualifications Experience handling multiple attorneys with full caseloads. Well versed in both federal and state court procedure and filing requirements, including e-filing in federal court. Organized, reliable, and attentive to detail. Ability to work in the office.
