AP Specialist Belle Plaine, MN / Fully Onsite / 8:00 – 5:00 M-F Hourly Pay Range: $24.00 – $28.00 Industry: Building Materials, Construction Services About the Opportunity – AP Specialist Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This temporary opportunity offers the chance to make an immediate impact supporting a large invoice and payment operation while collaborating with a dynamic and outgoing team. Key Responsibilities – AP Specialist Manage high-volume AP processes, handling thousands of invoices and payments monthly Monitor and maintain a shared AP inbox, responding to vendor and internal inquiries Perform data entry and invoice processing across multiple systems, including AP automation tools Route invoices for appropriate coding and approvals, ensuring accuracy and compliance Coordinate invoice forwarding to OCR systems and assist with vendor setup processes Follow up on payment statuses and resolve discrepancies or missing invoice issues Collaborate with team members in a rotating schedule to manage large volumes of inbound communications Maintain strong communication with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues Qualifications – AP Specialist 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience required Experience in construction or construction services industry preferred Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume AP environment Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables Comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems and processes Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach Familiarity with ERP or AP automation tools (e.g., Oracle, Softco) is a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
