Our client is currently seeking a FACILITIES MANAGER in Arkansas.

Facilities Manager

Position Summary The Facilities Manager oversees all aspects of site maintenance, safety compliance, vendor relationships, and operational efficiency to maintain a safe, reliable, and productive facility environment. This role leads a team of skilled trades personnel (including HVAC, electrical, plumbing/pipefitting, and carpentry) and coordinates facility-wide systems, infrastructure integrity, and regulatory compliance.


Essential Job Functions

• Maintains a fully compliant OSHA safety program and participates in specialized system operations as required.
• Develops, schedules, and delivers training for hazmat response, confined space entry, and rescue teams.
• Creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for chilled and heated water systems; ensures P&IDs remain current and accurate.
• Inspects and maintains hazardous materials response equipment per regulatory standards.
• Oversees HVAC, compressed air systems, boilers, air dryers, and fire protection systems-including monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair of compressors, condensers, drives, and related components.
• Manages daily schedules, work orders, and SOPs for non-ammonia refrigeration equipment, interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Education & Training Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.


Preferred:

• Strong HVAC and senior-level facilities management experience.

Experience, Knowledge & Abilities Required:

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance with supervisory responsibilities.
• Solid technical knowledge of industrial heating/cooling, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with compressed air systems, air dryers, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
