Mechanical Piping Estimator
Multi-Craft Contractors
Essential Duties
- Prepare detailed and accurate mechanical and piping estimates for industrial and food/beverage facilities.
- Review and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other construction drawings.
- Perform material takeoffs, labor estimates, and cost analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure scope clarity.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages and participate in bid reviews.
Education & Training
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical piping estimating
- Experience working on projects involving process piping, sanitary piping systems, plant utilities to include pneumatics, steam and condensate piping, hydronic piping, and other industrial plant construction
- Proven experience estimating projects up to $10M
- Strong understanding of industrial and food/beverage piping systems
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, P&IDs, and construction drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and Bluebeam
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
