Minimum Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation, Creative Arts Therapy or in related field preferred; be certified or eligible for certification as an Activity Director Certified - ADC within (1) one year.
• Minimum two years' experience in long term care and/or dementia care preferred.
• Current driver's license in good standing required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement may be required within six months of employment.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season

As a pioneer in the field of aging service, our Monroe Township residence is the result of decades of research and over a century of experience. Parker at Monroe provides nursing and memory care services to individuals with all stages of dementias, who may also have complex physical needs. The campus consists of six "small homes"; sixteen elders with similar needs reside in each small home. The homes and programs are designed to promote independence, dignity, and a sense of community among our elders and their care partners. As an Eden Alternative registered home, Parker transforms long-term care environments into person-centered communities that offer varied and meaningful activities.
