Requirements / Qualifications Only Completely filled Applications with a Current Resume and 3 Letters of Recommendation will be considered. Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters, 1 from a current or former employer, 2 personal.) Other (A pre-requisite for employment is proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test or possession of an AA degree or higher.) A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. EXCEPTIONS TO TAKING THIS TEST ARE: Possession of a current California Teacher Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, or at least 48 units, OR CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test).
