Key Responsibilities Employment and supervision of staff, including verifying references. Assist teachers in implementing weekly activities and maintaining a safe environment. Facilitate communication with parents and address any concerns. Ensure compliance with NC Daycare rules and regulations. Ensure business is compliant with state and federal labor laws. Ensure building remains in compliance with NC regulations. Maintain children's and staff records. Conduct fire evaluations monthly. Oversee playground safety inspections and paperwork. Manage curricula compliance and procurement of materials. Support staff through training and professional development. Handle budget, accounts, marketing, and parent communication. Minimum Qualifications Minimum age of 21 years Must be a level 3 or 4 Director in the State of NC Training in early childhood education from an accredited school. Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with at least twelve credit hours in early childhood education. Eligibility to work with children in the state of North Carolina based on a criminal background check. Preferred Qualifications Possess the North Carolina Early Childhood Administration Credential or its equivalent as determined by the Department of Health and Human Services. 2+ years of supervisory experience. 2+ years of experience in childcare and child development. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and integrate various components of childcare programs.
